Alex Schild
Alex Schild is the head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach at Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA in Bang Tao and a black belt under world champion Josh Hinger. A Maryland native, he first came to Phuket in 2012 and has lived and coached on the island for around a decade, competing in BJJ, Muay Thai and MMA, including the ONE Warrior Series. He developed the gym's beginner fundamentals program, works with its fight team and organises the Siam Sub Series BJJ tournament.
